Throwback Thursday: Student life, 1979 style

In 1979, Pink Floyd premieres the live version of “The Wall” in Los Angeles. McDonalds debuts the Happy Meal and C-SPAN launched the first televised congressional session of the U.S. House of Representatives. Jimmy Carter was president. A stamp cost 15 cents and a gallon of regular gas cost 86 cents.
